Moscow checks, discusses with Baku alleged arms deliveries to Kiev — MFA

At the same time, Maria Zakharova pointed out that Azerbaijan had officially denied reports of arms deliveries to Kiev

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Russia is thoroughly checking and discussing with Azerbaijan media rumors about alleged arms supplies to Kiev, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has told a news briefing.

"All information about potential arms deliveries to the Kiev regime is thoroughly checked by our specialized security agencies," she said when asked for a comment on media reports about Azerbaijan's alleged arms deliveries to Kiev.

"Everything that emerges in the public space, and not only in the public space, is discussed with utmost care with all countries," Zakharova pointed out. "I will emphasize once again that we are in close contact on this issue, including with the Azerbaijani side, as well as with all other countries, of course, except for the Western countries, which not only openly declare arms deliveries, but also take pride in them."

At the same time, Zakharova pointed out that Azerbaijan had officially denied reports of arms deliveries to Kiev. For Russia, she said, "the issue of arms deliveries is of fundamental importance," as such actions "pose a threat to Russia and its people."
